Yr10 - Film Editing Using Premiere Pro

Hi trailer students!

You will need a few things for this work:

• Copy and paste the following folder from the google drive onto your desktop (Click HERE)
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Your choice of royalty-free music from Bensound or Purple Planet
• Your choice of relevant font from DaFont (download and install. Once you have done this you will need to close and reopen PPro to make it find the new font)

Use the footage you have in the folder (which is all from A Level coursework!) to create a 1 minute trailer for a thriller film. You will need to consider the following:

• Order of clips - What story are you telling? How are you doing that with your choice of clips?
• Footage editing - Will you change colours? Zoom in? Distort? WHY? What effect are you trying to create?
• Transitions - Fade? Cut? Dip to black? WHY? What effect are you trying to create?
• Sound - Music and sound effects - do you want the diegetic sound or not?
• Titles - Choice of wording, font, where within your trailer it comes?

When you have finished, export as H.264 and upload to this folder with your name as part of the title.
